2. Description of Service

InviteOtter is an event management platform that allows registered users to create events, invite guests, collect RSVPs, post announcements, and run polls. Some features (viewing public events, submitting an RSVP via a shared link) are available without an account.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when registering.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password confidential.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use InviteOtter to:

  • Send spam or unsolicited commercial messages.
  • Harass, threaten, or impersonate others.
  • Upload or transmit malicious code.
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service.

5. Content

You retain ownership of content you create (events, announcements, etc.). By posting content on InviteOtter, you grant us a limited license to store and display that content as necessary to operate the service. You are solely responsible for the content you post and must ensure it does not infringe on any third-party rights.

6. Guest Data

When you add guests to an event and send invitations, you represent that you have appropriate permission to use those email addresses for that purpose and that doing so complies with applicable law.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

InviteOtter is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your requirements.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, InviteOtter shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

10. Changes to These Terms
